"Nothing can devour me/ I scream with all my might" - Personal Tattoo Design

This is a very personal tattoo design I made for myself. It is inspired by a song called "Black Swan" by BTS which talks about how losing the love for their passion is the most painful and overwhelming death that any creator will ever know. It's at this line, "Nothing can devour me/ I scream with all my might", where the song tonally shifts from being one of existential and depressive fear of falling out of love with their passion to one that states with clarity that they will no longer let the fear of failure and of loss rule over them any longer, and they resolve to continue on regardless if they are singing or shouting. The force of this one line is in a way a form of a Momento Mori, as they refuse to give up their creative passion regardless of if they can do it anymore or not, and has become my own call to arms. It has reminded me that even if I lose the ability to draw one day, I will still do it gleefully because nothing can stop me from doing it.
