Claire Ryan- Character Sheet

Claire Ryan is the victim of a poltergeist attack. Once a very outgoing and bright young 27 year old college student, since her attack she has become a jaded anxious and dependent on nicotine and the faith that saved her.

While living by herself, Claire begins being haunted by a poltergeist after her friends decided a night of playing the with a Ouija board with out saying "goodbye" was a good idea. Claire over a series of weeks is tormented by a spiteful and angry poltergeist with increasing violence. With no where to go Claire calls on the Catholic church in the area to help rid her of her problem. but this only serves to piss off the poltergeist more. As the Priest in training is attempting to exorcise, the Poltergeist lashes out and destroys Claire's legs.

Claire, wakes up in a church hospital, some how near the Vatican, and discovers that not only does she not have her own legs any longer, but she is able to understand every language presented to her and now holds the most high tech version of prosthetic legs ever conceived by Science and Religion.

Given the literal ability to "kick ghost ass" Claire sets out to find a purpose to her life that doesn't involve constantly being in terror of the things that have created her. She joins Jin at "Wayward Paranormal Investigation" only as a way to establish a new normal away from the Church, and fight the supernatural on her own terms.
